This week, we invite you to enjoy CRUISIN' 1955, featuring ""Jumpin'" George Oxford, on KSAN in San Francisco re-created from 1955! Our CRUISIN' SCHEDULE is posted here. Last weekend every month: It's FRESH CRUISIN' at REELRADIO!
PAMS WKNR Detroit Trella Hart Swiszle Jingle Party, 1967It's been a long time since something was HITBOUND from The Bob Green Collection, but that's only because Bob's first exhibits were posted here in May 1996! The PAMS WKNR Trella Hart Swiszle Jingle Party, 1967 is now ready to play. AND we have upgraded another exhibit first posted way back in May 1996! The 1970 Gavin Jingle Retrospective sounds great! Thanks, Bob!
George Carlin, Wonderful WINO, Son Of WINOGeorge Carlin (May 12, 1937 - June 22, 2008) began his career as a 19-year-old disc jockey when Top 40 radio was emerging as a new cultural phenomenon. A decade later, the up-and-coming comedian had perfected the ultimate Top 40 parody. This composite of both WINO recordings demonstrates George Carlin's exceptional talent and secures his place as the Top 40 generation's favorite stand-up comedian.
KSFM FM-102 Sacramento 1988 July 4th Pyromusical SpectacularTwenty years ago this week, your Uncle Ricky was working on the 4th of July, directing yet another July 4th Pyromusical Spectacular. I've featured one of these on the 20th anniversary of each show since 2003. There isn't a show for 2009, because KFBK and Rush Limbaugh took it over in 1989. Even though the Governator says we shouldn't play with fireworks this year, he didn't say anything about listening to this Pyromusical Spectacular. Enjoy, and have a safe and happy 4th of July!
